Barn Dance Caller
Professional Barn Dance instructor with self-contained PA-system for dancing to recorded music. Barn dancing can be combined with line dancing if requested.
Different to Line Dancing, Barn Dancing is similar to English Country Dancing. Expect group dancing to traditional folk music (with recorded music this is often American, Irish or Scottish folk music). The dancing is highly interactive, involving groups of people forming circles, squares, or lines, and regularly changing partners. Perfect for mixing everyone together at social gatherings.

Originating from Scotland and Ireland, a Cèilidh is danced to traditional folk instruments like the fiddle, accordion, tin whistle, or acoustic guitar. You do not need to know any steps to participate, as one of our expert callers will teach the sequence of moves before the song starts, and will continue to 'call' the steps as the music plays. Enjoy a lively evening of dancing to a live band! Perfect for weddings!
